Government Bestows The Heroes Award to Special Olympics CI

In recognition of the exceptional contributions to the development, safety and well-being of

the community in these islands for over twenty years Special Olympics Cayman Islands

received the Government of the Cayman Islands National Heroes Award at the Grand

Ceremony in Heroes Square. Our association has been in existence for over 34 years and

Coach Susan Whittaker and Track & Field Athlete Tivon Garraway received the Award and

Medal from the Premier Hon. G. Wayne Panton Jr. MP and Hon Bernie Bush Minister MP for

Youth, Sports, Culture & Heritage.
